Vada Walker is a long-time Sacramento resident who, after her first child was born, began exercising to relieve stress, lose weight, and increase energy. She’s since run multiple 10K and half marathons, and enjoys outdoor cycling, boxing, and strength training. Her success with strength training prompted her to explore the world of fitness and personal training. As a result, for more than 10 years, she’s worked as a personal trainer and fitness manager in a number of local large and small gyms, and as an independent full-time personal trainer, where she pursued her passion of working with clients one-on-one.
She has obtained several certifications relevant to improving fitness, as well as overall health and well-being, including personal trainer, corrective exercise, women’s health, TRX suspension training, and mobility. Most recently, she completed a Functional Strength Coach Certification that facilitates, with a doctor’s recommendation, client post-injury recovery by restoring functional fitness. Her ultimate objective is to use her expertise and hands-on training skills to help clients, including those recovering from an injury, to lose weight and get back in shape. Vada is excited to share her passion for health and fitness with clients!
