Dr. Cody Miller is originally from South San Francisco, California. Growing up playing sports, he focused his athletic interest on football and baseball from a young age till high school. From his love of sports grew an equal interest in how the human body works and, more importantly, how to make it work efficiently. Following multiple years within the personal training field, Dr. Miller experienced the immediate benefits of Chiropractic care while managing a boutique gym in San Francisco. Finding relief from years of low back pain within a couple visits motivated him to learn more about the profession and pursue it as a career. After receiving his B.A. in Philosophy & Religion from San Francisco State University, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2020 & graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. Dr. Miller prides himself on continually learning & critically interpreting new methods of assessing & treating his patients. Helping them become pain free so they can enjoy life through movement is his goal and greatest reward as a practitioner.
Dr. Miller has always had a passion for maintaining an exercise routine throughout life,, ranging from trail running, powerlifting/Olympic lifting, salsa dancing, and traditional weightlifting to Hatha yoga and (recently) tai chi. He has found that a balance between physical exertion and mental relaxation through meditative movement is a vital component to athletic performance and a healthy active lifestyle. Dr. Miller has run six Spartan races of varying lengths and three Tough Mudder races, enjoying the trail running experience with the mixed in obstacle challenges. His training interests include Chen-style tai chi, kettlebell strength training, and running. His current reading list is Chi Running, Oxygen Advantage, and Zen Mind Beginner’s Mind.
